Amparo Salgado
Vice President of People Operations and Project Director
As the head of People Operations, Ms. Salgado is accountable for maintaining our best-in-class workforce by hiring all direct TVS colleagues and sourcing external contractor support. She is also responsible for building, maintaining, and evolving our company culture; and for creating and managing the infrastructure for professional development, goal setting, performance evaluations, and training for every member of our team.
Ms. Salgado also leads projects and oversees multiple client relationships. She has over 20 years of experience in QC, QA, regulatory, and project management. She has established and managed labs for biologics, devices, and gene therapy product testing, and has extensive experience in qualification, contract testing lab oversight, and method lifecycle management. Ms. Salgado is a highly motivated leader who drives strategies that promote quality and continuous improvements while simultaneously providing excellent communication skills as a cross-functional team leader with a can-do attitude.
Her education includes holding a B.S. in Biology with a concentration in Microbiology from S.F. State University as well as certificate programs in Clinical Virology, Regulatory Affairs, and Project Management.
